This is the most eventful date in history that probably ever will be. Two people meet across the room, look at one another for an instant, and know exactly what they are feeling. They fall in love with each other, and spend months (or years) perfecting their love story. For these women, this romance was everything they could have ever wanted or needed in their lives. These women were fortunate enough to meet their soulmate on the rooftop of a bar in New York City; this time was unlike any other experience they've had before. Their special night out came to an end when one of these women died tragically after jumping off of that same restaurant where she met her future husband. This is the story of how these two people met for the first time; they were both experiencing something that they found to be indescribable. One of the women was getting married on that rooftop but nobody knew about it. Her name was Lauren Hines (Allie DiMeco), she worked on Wall Street, and had made some terrible decisions in her life based on her position. She was also engaged at one point but he left her because he could not trust her anymore; this had made Lauren very depressed. The night she died, it happened to be a very special occasion for her family, therefore she decided to show up for their last minute wedding party. Lauren was trying to remain positive that night, but it was hard for her because one of her friends accidentally spilled the beans about her engagement. Lauren put on her best face for this special occasion, and decided to head home afterwards. At this point, she walked outside alone, and headed to the rooftop of the bar where she met the other woman who would also be attending this wedding party. The other woman's name was Diedre Price (Kimberly Renee Smith), she worked as a waitress in New York City and had just moved there not too long ago. She had recently broken up with her boyfriend; she had no living family members at all. To make matters worse, she had to pay for her own bills and was living in a very small apartment. Diedre had been having a pretty rough week before this party happened; it looked like things were about to get better for her because she was able to land a job at the bar that Lauren and her friends were at that night. It was Lauren and Diedre's lucky night when they both arrived there at the same exact time; they crossed paths in the lobby of the building, and fated hearts instantly connected with their eyes. They decided to sit down and talk for a while, but they did not know how much time they had left together. Lauren asked Diedre if she wanted to have a drink, but she declined because she had been waiting on her boyfriend to pick her up from work. Right before Lauren and Diedre both left the bar, they decided to get a little bit buzzed and ended up having several drinks all the way through their night of bliss. After they initially ordered their drinks, it did not take long for them to realize that they were having a great time; both of them were laughing and smiling like crazy.
